Welcome to Shadow Files
What this corner of the site is for, and what to expect out of it between any potential future book releases.
When I brainstorm and write, I come up with ideas that do not fit a single book, or that get cut for space. The Los Alamos location book came out to a little over twenty pages. I probably had enough material for another twenty.
Some of that is reserved for future books. Project Falling Cicada and Project Rain Veil are not just hooks; I have detailed notes on what both are, their goals, their organization, and more. Those stay in the drawer until they have a home.
Shadow Files is for the rest: thoughts and notes that helped me with a project but never made it into the final draft.
What interests me most in Shadowrun is the areas and people you do not find in the major sprawls. Rural areas, mid-sized towns, and the people living outside Seattle, Berlin, and Hong Kong. Nature abhors a vacuum, so someone is living out there. Those are the stories and settings that fascinate me.
